![]() ![]() Suspension was ok (front forks were normal, I know later models had air-adjustable forks, and I fitted and rebuilt Marzzochi Strada shocks at the back, and they were great). Great brakes, awesome handling, you sit very low by the road. I absolutely loved it and was on it all the time. Then, I got an old 77' V35 Guzzi with 50000km. It was a nice bike, nothing dramatic (poor handling, poor suspension, poor drum brakes, but I expected it, since it was 40 years old at the time, and I still had a good time with it). ![]() I first started riding with a bigger bike 4 years ago, on a 73' Honda CB360. I am 20 years old, and I am sure many people have more exprience than me (though, I know a lot about bikes, and I have worked on plenty). I was always told they had great design, that they were extremely easy to work on. My father spent most of his life on an 80's R65, then on an R100RT and he now owns an R1150R. All my life I was told how awesome BMW was. ![]()
